I saw people waiting here for 13 months for COEs or Visas. How? Isn’t your residence card expired and way past 2 months?

Im a senmon gakko student graduated on 16 March 2026. Got job offer in Dec 2025 and my company applied online for Change of Residence on 12 Dec 2025 at famous Shinagawa immigration centre.

Now, im still waiting. And my resident card expires on 25 May 2026. So, is my grace period till 25 July 2026?
Am i suppose to get my gijinkoku visa before 25 June or 25 July 2026? Or it can be past July 2026 grace period ?
