Working on my second copper dial from copper coins. This one I’m skeletonizing to pair with a vintage skeletonized 6498. I added a few pics of my process. After I have the dial feet soldered on, then I’ll add patina to the copper. Still trying to decide if I will recess a small subdial for the second hand

I turned one of my 1oz copper coins into a watch dial today. Took a bit of machining to get it thin enough, then added some contrast with heat. The dial will be aligned better when I insert the stem into the movement.
