Here's what I have: 1hp 240v 3 wire well pump 240ft deep well, pump sitting at 235, static water at 220ft.

Here's what I want to use to power it: 5KW 48V 110/240Vac Split Phase Low Frequency Inverter

I currently run my well pump with a 7000w/8750w generator. I measured the current with an amp clamp meter, and found that it draws <10a running, and >17a starting. For calculation sake, ill say 10a running, and 20a startup.

I want to run my pump with this Low Frequency Powmr Inverter, with ideally one 100ah 48v battery. In the specifications, it says it has a 15,000w peak power, which is 3x the inrush current of my well pump. I want to make sure that this being a low frequency inverter and having the high peak power, will allow me to run my well pump.

The use of my well pump is to fill my water tanks (600 gallons). I have a stable 10gpm output from the well, so I would only need to run it 1 hour to fill the tanks from empty. For the summer I plan to run irrigation to my garden, so most likely be using water while the sun is out. I have enough solar panels to cover the running wattage of the pump and charge the battery during the day (3600w solar)

I have a Renogy Rover 20A charge controller I want to connect to my 24V Lifepo4 battery bank. I want to connect it to two bifacial panels for the summer that are pointed more west to get some evening sun seperate from my south facing array that gets shaded. I could get an extra hour or two of sun on these two panels to help offset running my AC in the summer.

Here's my dillema, i have two bifacial 445w panels I have ready to use, and i want to wire them in series. The charge controller lists a maximum solar input of 100VDC. These two panels in series would be 79VOC.

I am aware that this is a very inefficient way to use these panels, and am okay with the power being clipped/capped at the 20A/520W input to the battery.

Is this too much overpanelling or will this work until i can afford a proper sized charge controller?
