I was walking across the street when, BOOM, lightning struck and killed me. Now, in numerous posts I see people arguing "but thats fun", "do you not like fun?", "just go back to normal aram!", "cry somewhere else" ... but I personally believe there has to be some kind of easy to implement line. I mean, am I some kind of, never before seen, genius? Hardly, but even the most lobotomized league player can think of things like: A limit to how strong an Augment can get. How about, Dropkick stops at 25% execute? How about Tank Engine stops at 10k hp? I mean, it's a gold augment, right? Does it need to scale infinitely with no chance of comeback whatsoever? Does Ryze/Vladimir need 30k hp, 5k ap, 500 ah because he managed to click the right options when augments came along? At what point does the Augmentation become the identity? At what point could you have played against anything, from easy bots to the top 3 challenger players, and gotten the same result? I understand that "fun" is subjective, BUT we are playing a multiplayer game with and against real humans. You see game devs nerf overpowered combos in all sort of Pve games, which is mostly unnecessary because no one gets harmed at the end of it. Riot introduced the "combobreak" mechanic for a reason, right? A multiplayer game should have some sort of counterplay, or we end up in a world where DYS Graves walks up and 1 auto 1 shots everyone ... Does this need to be posted under r/unpopularopinion ??? And why are people actually arguing for this blatantly unnecessary imbalance to continue?
