just to start off, I’m a beginner in FreeCAD.
I tried to teach myself how to use it for a personal project: a 19-inch rack box where I want to customize the rack modules. I have a file with a 4U height unit, and I wanted to add ventilation slots with a cool pattern and a Christian cross, because I will use it in a church context.
My first problem was that everything was underconstrained, so I ended up fully fixing everything so it wouldn’t move anymore. But now, when I try to create a pocket from the sketch, I get the error: “Pocket: wire not closed.”
I checked the sketch validation tool and I see that all nodes except the ones on the border are marked as faulty. I don’t really understand why this is happening, and I can’t find a clear reason anywhere.
So my question is: can someone help me fix this issue?
