Guy whose more autistic than me at work is constantly interrupting conversations & it's driving me nuts

I finally get why everyone kinda found me annoying my entire life. It's okay to include yourself in the conversation & I'm not a stickler for social norms, but holy shit this guy is constantly dumping facts about himself and then just not following up or showing any curiosity or reaction to what's already being discussed. I think it makes sense why normies think spergs lack empathy.

This is that trope where a mildly autistic guy encounters an even more mildly autistic guy and hates their guts. It's like I'm looking into a mirror and it makes me feel sick that this may be how others perceive me.

just be yourself!

Makes sense until you actually go out into the world. Nearly everyone I know that's socially successful will shape-shift with whoever they're talking to and I'm always unsure what "themselves" actually is. Guys faking their whole personality to get a crumb of pussy is a tale as old as time. I've met plenty of people one on one who I thought would make a great friend and then when we are both in a larger group they hardly act like the same person I was talking to 2 hours ago. Code-switching and mirroring people you like are both natural things for humans to do.

The internet should stop giving empty platitudes to the autists and socially stunted as legitimate advice. If they don't build specific skills and personality traits they will likely remain at the bottom of the social caste and continue to fail.
