We had a foundation crack in the basement of our wall. Insurance people came and took off the rug and drywall. We got the crack fixed , now we are waiting for them to put the walls and rug back on. They came and put the walls on, mentioning that they need to come 2-3 times more to put the mud on but didn’t put on the rug saying that we need to schedule it separately. Has anyone faced a similar situation before, did the insurance cover the rug installation and how long did it take for them to complete the work after insurance approval?

I am a dog lover like everyone else in this group, but I would like to hear from people who got puppies and had to rehome/ were able to train them perfectly, is it worth it going through all of those sleepless nights and struggles, since I have read many posts here mentioning the difficulties. Is it better to get a trained older dog,do rescue dogs have more behavioural issues?

Are there any young people who have got a puppy on their own and trained and everything with a full time job, did you stay at home all the time for first how many weeks and how long did it take for them to sleep through the night.

I had a puppy before and I am trying to learn everything that can be done better in the future, if I need assistance from a family member in the initial days to take care of him or if it possible to manage alone, I work from home 5 days a week and go to gym in evenings. How to stop the biting when we take something bad from their mouth when they are trying to chew, how to help with the over excitement when seeing new people and new places and not listening to the commands, how to go outside when leaving them at home and if we should leave them in the crate, is it okay if they pee poo in their playpen or do we need to cover the ground with pee pads everywhere, and if we can leave them in the car for some time but we need to add pee pads in the car.
