I was at a vintage shop and found these incredible sunglasses with slits. I think they’re so cool. I used Google lens to find more online but I only found two listings (attached images). Neither referred to Pierre Marly, but the actual glasses’ tag said that’s what it was, and it said 1970’s.
I found them in the last 5 minutes of the shop being open so I only had time to check the price (could not try on or deliberate) and they were going for ~$340. Online these other ones went for much less but in different countries. This is also the kind of shop you can barter with, so I’m trying to do market research and find out how much they’re worth + how much I might be able to haggle down to. It’s been super hard to find info, so I’m hoping this community can help me find out more!
Does anyone think they look cool? Or weird? In into eccentric stuff so this pair felt super fun!
