Hello!
I am heavily considering making a trip to New Orleans this year via train for my 30th birthday. If I do, it will be me and my younger sibling (who will be 21).
We are both from quite a small town and larger cities are overwhelming. But New Orleans has been on my bucket list for a long time.
We both are not the party type, but would love to walk the streets in the evenings to see the city come alive. In general, we are both more introverted as well.
Being that I’m an older sibling, I’m also quite protective, but it’s nice to not feel like I have to be on high alert in a new place.
For two female travelers, is New Orleans generally safe?
Any and all tips and advice would be great!
Also, Catholic Church suggestions too? We are both devout Catholic and I love bringing my faith into my travels as much as I can.
