Hi folks,

27m here, my lower jaw is slightly recessed, ca. 8mm overbite. However, I actively correct it by constantly forcing myself to bite correctly so there is essentially no space between lower and upper front teeth. I was supposed to get a DJS about 10 years ago but being the idiot I am I didnt want to wear my braces any longer so I refused. Now the question: Is it possible to get my chin a bit farther to the front by a simple genioplasty or will it look overprojected?

i guess the only way to completely fix it would be a DJS with "maxilla reduction"?
