Iranians, Jews, or Gulf Arabs?
Who does Reddit currently demonize the most rn? Is it still Jewish people? Have we dethroned them yet? I feel like rabid disdain for UAE is increasing exponentially…looks like things could get exciting y’all! 😂💀

Just wanted to shout yall out and say ILY from your Persian sister, Alhamz. Also why are all of you so damn hilarious? Your sense of humor is 🔥. Why is this ?
I was part of the Jan layoffs. Received that lovely email from Beth while on maternity leave lol. Granted I didn’t start seriously looking until a few weeks ago but man it’s rough out there. I’m sad :(
Curious because my spouse from Iran speaks Assyrian (Neo-Aramaic) and I notice a ton of Arabic words when he and his family speak Assyrian together; I took a year of Arabic in college and have a lot of Arabic speaking friends so I’m able to pick up on these similarities a lot. For example, “I’m home” in Assyrian is “Ana beyte” (still lost on how Assyrian is gendered compared to Arabic, so idk if this is fully accurate for both genders!) and in Arabic it’s “Ana fi beyt”, right? And in Hebrew it’s “Ani ba bayit”.
I also just learned today that Assyrians also say “teez” for ass lol! 🤣 So I was hoping someone smarter than me can tell me how similar these languages are to each other? If I continue learning Arabic will it also help me understand Assyrian or Hebrew better? I would love to learn Assyrian because of my in laws and I want my kids to definitely learn it; but there aren’t that many great resources to learn the language and I’m already in the process of learning Arabic, which is easier for me as a Persian speaker who’s already taken a year of Arabic and can read Arabic script.
I am also curious about the history of these languages and which language is Arabic more
