My store has really been testing my patience lately and I need advice. If you're thinking about commenting something stupid please just keep it to yourself because this is a legitimately infuriating situation and I feel like my asds is getting really nasty with me out of nowhere and I don't know why.

I have been working full time hours (scheduled and working *at least* 32 usually more though) since late November, granted I have had to go on multiple unpaid medical leaves because I was hospitalized, so that's why I wasn't added in the system automatically. But at this point I have done at least 32 hours a week for 5 weeks straight. I am aware that if you work at least 32 hours for a certain number of weeks you get put in the system as full time automatically regardless of what your management team wants.

My management team has been outright refusing to make me full time since December but they were still scheduling me 40 hours. It really sucked but I was still getting the hours I needed so I at least had that. Now starting about 2 weeks ago they started cutting my hours. Only by one shift at first but it quickly turned into only being scheduled 20 hours a week and obviously I cannot live off this. I asked multiple managers if they knew why and they just kind of shrugged at me and eventually I went and talked to my asds and she told me "if I want to be full time and get hours I have to show up , be reliable , and stick to the schedule.

Now I feel like this is a genuinely wild thing to say to me because other than hospitalizations and days off that are legally protected under FMLA I only have like 3 unexcused absences from the past 6 months. I only have one write up for attendance and 2 occurrencees and that's it.

I'm not even going to go into how other people at the store have 2-3x more the absences than me. I'm sure it happens at all of your stores and you all know at least one person like this too. Hell I know a girl who only shows up once a week if that and she hasn't even gotten fired yet.

I talked to my direct ASM and he said he was going to talk to my asds about it but I also filed a report to the aware line. I really feel like this is extremely shitty at best and possibly discrimination at worst. What can I do in this situation? I've only been able to make it to 40 hours by picking up shifts from coworkers but I don't know how long I can keep doing that.

Tl;Dr I'm really feeling that "taking care of our people" right about now /s
