I recently got engaged and was gifted what we believed was my great-grandmothers engagement ring, but she was born in 1915, and she didn't get married till the mid-30's in New York and the ring seems to be from before then time based on some cursory google searched. Our other theory is that it might be my great-great grandmothers who got married between 1900-1913 in Norway. It has no internal markings and the band has been resized but all stones are original and in their original place.
