Hello. I am looking for any advice for navigating this awful job market. I graduated a year and a half ago with a B.S. in political science and have applied to literally thousands of jobs since. I got one job but it was temporary. Since I can’t find a job in my field, I’m a waitress, which is fine for now but it is seriously impacting my mental health not having a stable job/career. I have done job fairs, spoke to recruiters, had multiple people look at my resume, tried using ai, messaging people on LinkedIn and nothing works. I have had multiple instances of getting 2nd/3rd round interviews but I get rejected and when I ask for feedback they say they went for someone with more experience. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.
