So, I got a bunch of fillings done and had complained about sensitivity. The dentist ordered for the hygienist to put something on my teeth with a brush and she did that and then applied fluoride. It was really frozen so I didn’t notice anything until the next day when inside of my top lip felt “tight” i guess like the skin was stretched, like a burn. today when I wiped my mouth a bunch of skin came off, like when you burn your mouth on food. I am wondering how, from this treatment, my mouth was … burned. like a chemical burn inside my lip. my upper lip is raw, swollen, and feels like it has been burned from this treatment

Should I be upset with my dentist? Was something done wrong? How do I deal with it? Also these photos don’t do it justice. It’s splotched with red and white
