I had an osteotomy and dislocation repair on my third toe about twenty days ago. The stitches came out eight days ago, and the K-wire is in for another month. My toe now sits lower than my others and surgeon said that will resolve itself when swelling goes down. When I looked at it today, the toe now seems to be turning sideways. Another concerning thing is the dark color where the stitches were. I’m seeing my surgeon tomorrow, but wondered if anyone has had their foot change position? Did it even out? Sorry my foot looks so 🤮 !!!
