I have 2 Deco x50.
Topology is: ISP router -> X50 main node (2D Main) -> TP Link TL-SG116-E switch -> X50 Secondary node (1D).
Problem: Secondary node 1D is connectjng wirelessly to main node 2D Main.
I have tried:
- Resetting secondary node multiple times and tried both, firdt connected them wirelessly and then connected ethernet and waited for some time and kept ethernet plugged while adding secondary node 1D. (By reset, I mean remove node from deco app and then resetting sec node via a pin in the small reset hole).
- Tested the wire ethernet wire , its good.
- In switch settings, changed 'QOS Mode' to port based. Switched off loop detection.
I am not sure what else to do. Please help.
P.S. The speed is not bad in secondary node, my internet plan is of 400mbps and speedtest gives around 300 in secondary node. Signal strength also shows 2 bars out of 3.
Should I just abandon my quest to connect these nodes in wired mode to preserve my sanity?
