Just looking over the note of authenticity drafted by McCarthy to go with the sale of his typewriter in 2009. He states he had used it to write all of his novels "including three not yet published". Any murmurs on what these three are? Could we get a posthumous manuscript at some point?

If we accept that two of them are likely The Passenger and Stella Maris (even though these may have been envisioned as one novel at some point), that still leaves the possibility of another novel lurking in the archive or sitting with an editor. Interested to hear if anyone has heard anything.

Has anyone read Ismail Kadare's Broken April?

Found some thematic similarities to some of McCarthy's work, particularly around the role of fate on a man's life, and descriptions of difficult journeys over harsh landscapes. Very different literary and cultural backgrounds and contexts to each other but i've found it a brilliant read. If you haven't read it, I'd recommend it.

I've got this edition of Blood Meridian, but I'm struggling to find out any info online about print run, desirability, etc. Any information is gratefully received!
