We just bought our home and it came with this huge beautiful (what I believe to be) Aloe Vera! I want to help it out as much as I can to keep it alive and well.

Should I put it in the ground somewhere? If I give it a chop here and there to clean it up will I be helping or destroying?

Edit to also add: the big stem poking out the top, is that going to be dropping seeds?
