So I've been getting into "EDM" for about a year now. More recently, South African house music has had me in a choke hold. As a second gen Ghanaian American, this sub genre just hits different for me. Recently attended Descendants events in DC and NY and they were fire. Problem for me now is Im struggling to support music from South Africa given all the xenophobic violence against other Africans (by South Africans).
Curious what folks who rock with this sub genre think about supporting South African artist with the current state of things. To my knowledge, Im not aware of artist speaking out against this madness....
