Well, I experienced it myself. 7F, choice preferred seat and somehow I am the only choice row with an old lady sitting in the middle seat next to me! I want to tell her to move over, but I’m too polite and a rule follower. Looking around she may be in the ONLY middle seat on the whole flight. Just 😬 and bear it.
