I’ve been working on a small iOS app called Mindor.
The idea is pretty simple:

you just dump whatever is in your head (text or voice), and it turns it into tasks, reminders and calendar events.

I built it mostly because I kept having too many things in my head and traditional task managers always felt like too much effort to use.
So instead of planning first, you just “empty your mind” and organize after.
There’s also a quick review step so you can adjust things before saving.
Still very early, but I just got my first paying user which was pretty exciting 🙂

I’ve been working on a small iOS app called Mindor.

The idea came from a simple problem: I tend to write everything down in a messy way (notes, random thoughts, things to do), but then I never organize it properly.

So I built something that lets you just dump everything in one go (text or voice), and then it turns it into structured tasks, reminders and calendar events.

There’s also a review step, so nothing gets saved automatically, you can tweak everything before confirming.

It’s still early, but I recently got my first paying user, which was a big motivation boost.

Right now I’m mainly focusing on making the capture → organize → review flow feel as natural as possible.

Would love to hear what you think, especially if you’ve tried similar tools.

I’ve been building a small iOS app called Mindor for a while now.

The idea is simple: you dump messy thoughts (text or voice), and it turns them into tasks, reminders and calendar events.

But with a review step, nothing is saved blindly. To be honest, I almost didn’t ship it. I kept overthinking the UX, the flow, whether it was “good enough”. Then someone actually paid for it. It’s just $13/year, nothing crazy, but it completely changed how I see the project.

Now I’m focusing a lot on the capture -> organize -> review flow, trying to make it feel really natural. Also realizing that distribution is way harder than building 😅

Curious what worked for you in the early days to get those first real users

I started posting it on Reddit to get feedback (mainly productivity and iOS-related subreddits) and I recently got my first paying user ($13/year)!

Nothing crazy, but it was a big signal for me.

What seemed to work best so far:

- focusing on the problem, not the app

- showing the “messy -> structured” transformation

- asking for feedback instead of pushing downloads

Still very early, but I’m trying to understand what channels actually convert at this stage.

Curious if anyone else here had similar early traction from Reddit or other channels
