Hello, so I haven't boughten the game yet but wanted to buy it to play with a friend, my only question is if I'd be able to play without the xbox app on my PC. He plays on console, xbox to be specific. I have a microsoft account and everything, but my PC doesn't work with the xbox app at all, like barely connects to it or something its a whole issue in itself I wont discuss here.

He plays on the newest Xbox, I play on a pc.

My main question is: Can I join my friend in Grounded 2 without the Xbox app on my PC?
