Purple Congo - JJMeds - April 2026
Ordered late in April 2026. Olive green and purple nugs, cakes in trichomes, sticky to the touch. The bag has a gassy, earthy scent. It was gassier smelling than I thought it would be. It tasted a bit different on the smoke, with an instant earthy, woody flavour punctuated by diesel, and a hint of sweet grape. The sweetness is especially present on the exhale, where the sweet grape lingers on the palate. The buzz is fantastic, starting off with a mild energy rush that wakes me up, while also relaxing me. It gets a bit heady after that in a relaxing way, without being overly sedative. It burns smooth and clean, with grey/white ash that has a bit of pepper. I loved everything about this. Bag appeal/cure 8.5/10, scent/flavour 9/10, buzz/effects 9/10, overall 9/10. I want to buy this one again. Very pleasant strain.
