I have had this issue for a year now. When I am connected to bluetooth in my car (other bluetooth devices too), and my spotify is on the foreground it lags like crazy. It gets distorted, pauses and goes 10x speed to catch up, overal lagging.
The moment I swipe it to the background, it completely solves itself.

I tried adjusting quality (even though all the songs are downloaded) and none of the quality options seem to have any effect. Truly lost, hopefully someone has a fix for this?
