I had my last day in the kitchen today (as far as I know) . Been a long stressful , high, burnt out and straight up burnt time. I've seen my fellow cooks at their worst just as they have seen my worst.
I've seen glory wrapped in a tortilla shell, and garbage being a la cart. I'm done though boss. It's been nice? At least it's been 16 years if nothing else of hot pans and mis em pas.
I hope this is it , the fork in the road of change that I gotta follow.
