Hush, little Sunshine, don't say a word
Mama's gonna buy you a mocking bird
And if that mocking bird don't sing
Mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring
Decided to make an inverse version of Eeveelution Squad Red and Blue(concept), where, in this version, Stella is the one who's alive while Alan and her daughter die.
Before Stella was killed, Alan managed to make it just in time, fighting against the mons, but died in the process. This severely broke Stella, and through grief, she had begun to change into a more melancholic version of her old self. But, with help from her family and her upcoming daughter, she decided to push through to try to make up for her guilt of what happened by trying to be a good mother for Sunshine.
Stella blames herself, believing she was simply too weak, and if she were stronger, Alan wouldn‘t have died. She remembers all the times that Alan had sacrificed and fought for her, how he was the one who defended her whenever someone bullied or attacked her. She couldn't stand the thought of being too weak to defend their one child, so she began training to a far higher level, treating every fight like it's a battle to the death where she must always be the one left standing for Sunshine's sake and to respect Alan's words to continue living.
Since then, she has always worn his purple scarf. Alan was truly alone in the world, and this was one of the only objects that proved his existence. Stella would rather die than have this remaining attachment taken away from her, too.
But we all know how all of this ends...
Sunshine ends up not telling Stella, and by the time she arrived, it was already too late. There, she cursed the world and wished that none of this had ever happened to her family. Jirachi heard it from behind her and granted her wish, creating all the timelines that we know of.
Similar to Alan(Alan AU), Stella ended up finding herself in an abyss, a space where she was connected to the many fragments of her daughter. Realizing what she had accidentally done by crying out her wish, she is driven to insanity, obsessing over patching her family back together no matter the cost.
Even if she has to kill others or even her other selves...
Unlike Alan, who views the berserkers as monstrous fragments, cursing his child to live on in suffering, Stella views all the berserkers as her children(yeah, our timeline of Speed is going to have to deal with far different berserkers than normal).
She is referred to as "Mother" by the berserkers and later becomes more of an entity rather than a mon.
An entity known as the Scarlet Star.
