Can I use the name "Magic Ministry" for a story I'm writing?
To be clear this has no connection to the world of HP, it's completely separate
I've been developing this story for about 4 years and I've just stuck with the name "Magic Ministry" (The similarity to Ministry of Magic is not lost on me) A friend recently said that if I put my story out there, it might get buried by all the Harry Potter stuff and might even be blindly accused of something it's not.(for example: that it is a knockoff of HP, when it's not)
For context: The Story is a modern urban fantasy story set in mid to late 2000s Europe. centered around a group of agents who work for the ministry to keep magic a secret and keep the general population safe from monstrous and magical threats.
I plan in the future to sell it as a comic series and independently publish/sell it.
So is it okay to keep the name or should I change it?(If so, can you suggest some replacement names?)
