Hey guys,
I’m looking for some advice on how to finally "lock in" my settings in KOReader. I’m legally blind, and I use a 10.3-inch e-reader to help give me enough screen real estate to actually see the text.
Because of my vision, I have to use a specific low-vision font at a very large font size and everything must be left-aligned.
The issue I’m running into is that KOReader isn’t being consistent. I’ll open one book and it looks fine, but the next one will have tiny text or weird centered alignment because of the "publisher styles." Since I can't see the menus well, it's a massive struggle for me to have to go in and manually fix the settings every single time I start a new book. I really need a way to force these settings globally so they never change.
On top of that, I’m getting this weird issue in some books where there’s a huge blank space at the bottom of the page every few pages. It's like the text just cuts off early, and it's super disorienting when I'm trying to follow the flow of a sentence.
Does anyone know how to:
- Force a "master override" so every book opens with my very large font and left alignment?
- Fix those random large gaps at the bottom of the screen?
I just want a consistent experience where I can just open a book and read without fighting the interface. Any help would be huge. Thanks!
