We were just having a normal beach day when we suddenly noticed something really off in the water… a goat.
At first we couldn’t even process what we were seeing. It was way too far from shore, clearly exhausted, barely keeping itself afloat. You could tell it had been struggling for a while. It was honestly kind of terrifying to watch.
There was this awful moment where it really hit us that we couldn’t reach it. No matter how much we wanted to help, it was just too far out. We tried shouting, waving, anything we could think of but it felt completely helpless just standing there watching it fight to stay above water.
Luckily, a boat was passing by in the distance. We started yelling and signaling like crazy until they finally noticed us. Huge shoutout to those absolute legends - they went straight toward the goat and managed to pull it out of the water.
I filmed part of it but it honestly doesn’t capture how intense it felt in the moment. One second it was just a chill beach day and the next we were watching a full on rescue happen.
Still can’t believe that actually happened.
