I just completed the Endless Eight arc (I am watching Haruhi for the 1st time in chronological order) and it is easily one of the most unique things I have ever seen (mind you I watched the first 3 ep back in Feb when I completed s1 and today I started S2 and completed the rest 5). I was slightly bored during the middle episodes but overall this arc was so unique and eerie, Especially during Kyon's deja vu moments. I would even go on to say that Endless Eight should be experienced at least once in your life. XD
