Hello everyone. Recently I found my grandfather pocket watch and I am searching for some information about it. Knowing I am going to use the pocket watch every day I went to the local clockmaker and he serviced it. Currently the watch is holding correct time for around 30 hours and I wind it every morning. I am interested how to remove the oxidation from the back panel, also i was reading about how old watches have radium in their dials so is this something i need to worry about? The dial doesn't glow in the dark and i don't see any brown marks near numbers. Thanks for all answers in advance.
