I finally understood why Sister Sage’s plan is perfectly logical for her character: a highly intelligent person ultimately seeks tranquility. To obtain this tranquility, you first try to control the world, thinking that once it’s peaceful and under control, you can finally return to your own peace. I see a lot of myself in this way of thinking. I often feel bored and I look for intellectual challenges or ways to enjoy my time, but then I look at the real world and see it’s "dirty" and dangerous. It doesn’t allow you to be totally free because there is crime, there is "omertà" (the code of silence), and there are people who can hurt you. In a world like this, you can’t even say what you truly think.

This leads to a specific thought process:

  1. The Political Route: You think about entering politics to fix things, but then you realize that democracy will never follow your rules. The world is democratic, but it’s also messy and corrupt.
  2. The Dictatorship Trap: You realize the only other way to impose order would be a dictatorship, but that isn't a truly feasible or sustainable plan. Sage realized this too—even with Homelander, she couldn't find a real, lasting stimulus because he is just as flawed as everyone else.
  3. From Control to Destruction: When you realize you cannot control the chaos or find a worthy challenge, you decide to channel it. Sage is channeling the chaos toward total destruction. This explains her shift from previous seasons or Gen V. In Gen V, you could see her plan was to stay at Godolkin, but when she realized that even they were just as stupid as everyone else, she gave up and left. Her evolution is clear: she tried different plans, she looked for a spark, but she reached a point where she said, "Everyone is stupid, it's better if I just withdraw and let them all die." By destroying the world, she will finally achieve the same tranquility she had at the beginning. She’s going to sit in her bunker, watching the world burn while she reads her books, finally free from the "noise" of an inferior and dangerous society. It’s not just a "villain" plan; it’s the ultimate withdrawal of someone who is tired of trying to fix a broken world.

I used Gemini cause English isn’t my first language. I find it easier, even tho this is a over semplification.

I can’t post this in the correct sub reddit cause i don’t have enough Karma. Sorry.

If somebody wants to help me or copy this, Please do.

EDIT:

To the "Literalists" who think they're being clever It’s truly exhausting to watch people try to dissect a god-tier intellect using the logic of a grocery list. Most of you are arguing about water, sunlight, and "why she doesn't just sell cancer cures to get rich." Let me explain why those thoughts are the hallmark of a mediocre, colonized mind.

  1. The "Get Rich" Fallacy

You think money is the ultimate goal because you can’t imagine anything beyond it. To Sage, money is a human construct designed to keep idiots busy. You think she wants a mansion? A mansion is just a bigger cage where Vought or the government can find you. She doesn't want "success" within your system; she wants the freedom to ignore you. If you think the smartest person alive values a bank account over the silence of a dead civilization, you’ve already lost the plot.

  1. The Logistics of the Bunker (The Plumbing Argument)

"Where does she get food? How does she survive?" This is where you expose yourselves. You are so trapped in your daily survival grind that you can't fathom a genius who has already automated her life. You're worrying about her vitamins while she's rewriting the DNA of society. It’s like watching a caveman worry about how a Tesla owner is going to find enough firewood to stay warm. The bunker isn't a "scary basement"—it's a sanctuary from the noise of your collective stupidity.

  1. What you haven't said, but I know you're thinking:

You're thinking: "But why the war? Why can't she just be a hermit?" Because as long as your "democratic" and "orderly" world exists, she is never safe. She knows that humans are tribal, violent, and envious. If she hides, you will hunt her for her brain. If she leads, you will betray her out of spite. The only way for her to be truly "tranquil" is to channel the chaos into a self-destruct sequence. She’s using Homelander as a giant Eraser. She isn't building a kingdom; she’s clearing the whiteboard so she can finally sit in a dark room and be left alone.

The Bottom Line:

You are the "noise" she’s trying to escape. Every time you ask a pedantic question about "vitamins" or "solar panels," you are proving her point. You are the reason she lobotomizes herself—to get a break from the relentless, shallow "rationality" of people who look at a masterpiece and only see the price of the frame. If you still don't get it, don't worry. You're exactly where she wants you: distracted by the explosions until the screen goes black. Stop trying to measure a mountain with a ruler made of sand.
