tl;dr: If a beginner owns a Battle Sisters Squad and the new Armageddon Battalion box, what would be the best next (smaller) purchase?
My coworker is being transferred. He works maintenance at our school and is really an awesome guy. I play guard (but love Sisters and want to collect). He loves Sisters for aesthetics and lore, but he has kids, so he’s never bought models. When he did a special project for my department awhile back, we pitched in and got him a Battle Sisters Squad. He flipped out and loved it! Now that he’s leaving, the whole staff has pitched in to get him the new Battalion box.
I am considering throwing in one more thing for fun. What would be best? Morvann Vahl? A codex? I can’t really afford a vehicle, trying to keep it around $50.
