Hello everyone. I'm Moose. I'm brandy-spankin new to the jeep community. I just picked up this 2021 Unlimited Sport. However, it is throwing a P0401 code. Carfax says EGR valve was replaced a month ago. It is currently back at the dealer, as this is covered under the warranty. Dealer says it now needs a new cooler line, however the part they need is on back order. I found the part online and would be comfortable replacing it.

Now the more challenging part, if it is the cooler too, not just the pipe from the cooler to the EGR.

I've watched a couple YT videos and it does seem very difficult to remove the cooler. My question is this.... If I want to just clean it with a degreaser or some sort of spray.... do I *have* to remove the cooler to do this? What if I drain the coolant, remove the cooler line, disconnect the main tubes from the cooler and just..... blast it? I dont see a reason to really take it off unless I have to replace it.... Idk. Looking for advice/input.
