Looking to Break Into the Digital Nomad Lifestyle — Banking/ Finance/Admin Background + Open to Mentorship in Bookkeeping & QuickBooks

I’m from the Philippines and currently trying to transition into a remote-first career and eventually the digital nomad lifestyle. I know it’s competitive, but I’m taking my shot here in case someone is open to giving advice, mentorship, referrals, or opportunities.
My background is mostly in:
Banking and treasury operations
Customer service and admin support
Executive assistant tasks
Email and document management
Handling reports, disbursements, and coordination work
I’m comfortable working with clients, managing sensitive information, and learning new systems quickly. I’d say one of my strengths is being highly adaptable and reliable in structured work environments.
Right now, I’m especially interested in:
Remote admin/support roles
Virtual assistant work
Bookkeeping and accounting support
Operations or back-office roles
Entry-level remote opportunities with growth potential
Even trying to break into tech, but zero background.
I’m also actively looking for someone experienced in QuickBooks/bookkeeping who might be willing to mentor or guide me. Even simple hands-on advice, workflows, practice tasks, or tips on how to gain real experience would mean a lot. I genuinely want to build practical skills and not just collect certifications.
Long term, I want to build a stable remote career that allows me to work from anywhere and support my family while continuing to grow professionally.
