High Water Level Cut off Switch ?

Hi…. I live rurally and our water comes from a borehole. The borehole pumps water into a large water tank (underground) and is controlled by a float switch…. Water level low = borehole pump comes on….water level high = borehole pump turns off.

All fine until like the other day when the float switch failed and kept the borehole pump running despite the fact that the water tank was overflowing !!

What I am after is an additional safeguard that breaks the circuit to the borehole pump regardless of the float when the water level is too high.

So maybe something like a bilge pump switch that works the other way round… high water level breaks the circuit instead of completes the circuit. Or maybe a pressure sensor at the bottom of the tank that breaks the circuit above a certain water pressure ?

I’ve done a lot of googling but can’t seem to find anything that fits the bill.

Any advice appreciated !
