I have cut these branches from my tree, that is about three years old, exposed to direct sun about two hours a day, otherwise bright shade. Living outside, grew from a naked branch (a stick). Now it produced those isolated tubers (?) with a nasty appearance. I cut these branches trying to avoid that from spreading. We seldom water it as the weather is quite rainy. We planted it in a pot but he's outgrown it so we broke the bottom and add regular soil for plants every year. Cannot be more specific.

WTF is this? Parasites? Fungus? Normal? Do those two things have the same origin/cause?
