My college had a policy that they wouldn't buy used books that had water damage. This book had a bit of damage where some pages didn't come together on the outside margin.

My dad worked in printing so I knew a trick that if I got the water damaged part wet it would smooth out long enough for me to sell it as long as they didn't notice a little bit of dampness. I did so and the trick worked.

I included a passage out of the 3rd book that claims Rasputin was inspired by a passage in the gospel of Luke and then opened up his 3rd eye in meditation. The book seemed kind of exaggerated compared to the first two but it was an interesting read.

I'm not sure if the first two books were worth the money I spent on them, but according to Maria Rasputin, Rasputin had a reputation and track record of healing the sick before he traveled to St. Petersburg.
