I really enjoyed the webinar last night and will look through some of the older ones you have on the site for more tips and tricks. I am finding this tool to be tremendously helpful in giving me peace of mind for our future financial stability and I am picking up new ideas everyday.
I had asked a question about CPP estimates on the platform not matching what I was seeing in my Service Canada Account. I have had a lightbulb moment about what is causing it. In the past, I had several years of no contributions due to the fact that I was drawing a CPP disability pension. My understanding is that Service Canada excludes those years in their calculations to not penalize those who are not able to work. So now that I have figured out the reason I am not sure of how best to deal with it in the platform. Should I put artificial numbers in the contributions or update my CPP income in the tables as an override? Any insight would be appreciated!
