Why does Jorah think so little of Robert as a tactician?

‘King Robert is fool enough to meet them in open battle, but the men advising him are different’ - Jorah to Daenerys, discussing the Dothraki

‘Only a fool would meet the Dothraki in an open field’ - Robert to Cersei

How does Jorah genuinely think that one of the greatest tactical minds of the time, the man who only lost one battle in the entire war, is that stupid? I get he doesn’t like the man, but surely he can see that objectively he’s an excellent tactician.

Do the mountains in the diamond have to actually be touching? ie you can’t have a mountain at the top and bottom of the diamond, with two tiles in the middle?

Trying to create one and it won’t let me. I can’t think of any other reason it isn’t allowing it as the tiles are all owned by the city, with no improvements, and they’re all breathtaking.

-Makes tundra not only viable to settle, but actually *preferable*. This increases the amount of useful tiles you have in total, leading to a larger empire. You also have the obvious synergy with Dance of the Aurora

-Can’t have a surprise war declared against him - at worst, you get 10 turns to prepare. This means you can get by with a small army, freeing up production and gold for expansion and development

-Ice Hockey rinks and Mounties work perfectly for an appeal-based tourism game. Mounties save you a lot of faith (their cost doesn’t increase like naturalists do, and they get double the charges to create national parks), which means you can use your faith to instead buy more rock bands. Tundra is also naturally higher appeal because there’s no floodplains or rainforest
