Iphone 13 pro max stuck on restore screen and won't reset via mac

My iphone 13 pro max has been stuck on the support.apple.com/iphone/restore screen for a day, I've tried resetting the phone to factory settings via my macbook, but after 20 ish seconds 'preparing' the phone disconnects from the computer and goes back to the restore screen. Is the only fix to take it to the apple store at this point?

I’m trying to add grass my scene and it doesn’t look that good normally, but it theoretically could blend really well because the base colour maps look good together in unlit mode. I changed the normal direction of the grass in blender to be upwards and it didn’t change much tbh
