Is Israel becoming a third world country?
Why Ethan Klein and So many Israelis HATE Living in Israel
I just watched this video the other day, it came up on my YouTube timeline. This YouTuber basically analysed some videos by popular YouTuber, Ethan Klein, as well as discussing other articles and posts which suggest that Israel might be, surprisingly, a bit of s**thole?
Personally, I've never been there, but I have always had the impression of Israel basically being like a cross between an American and Mediterranean country. First world, with beautiful beaches and modern infrastructure and technology. Also, judging from posts on here, their TFR is high and it gives the impression of a highly functional society ... but, this video I watched the other day kind of opened my eyes a little bit.
Before people jump in, yes, I know, there are basically "s**tholey parts" of every country in the world. I'm sure if you look long enough, there are probably parts of Switzerland and South Korea that look like a dump ... but, anyway, just though I'd share, as Israel often gets praised on this reddit group and I wondered if anyone had any other insights to add on what Israeli society is really like on the ground level.
