Advice for someone new to ads

I sell t-shirts within a particular niche, and I have been running ads for roughly 2 weeks. I take what I can from reddit regarding the placements, audiences, using stape instead of the apps channel, and minimal tweaking. My budget is very small at $15 per ad set. I have 3 campaigns, 1 ad set in each, and one ad. Each campaign has gotten sales here and there, but nothing consistent. I dont have much data to go off, but given the recent talks here, it seems that mid-April until now has just been a really bad time to get started. My question is, given my limited budget, should I keep the campaigns running? Because I haven't had many conversions, I'm assuming my campaigns are still in the learning phase. Is it a waste to keep them running if there are issues with FB locating my audience? Or is there an upside to keeping them going? Trying to figure out the best route forward as a beginner.

For those who use Shopify, does switching your theme potentially break your Meta pixel? I noticed a decline in my events activities around April 20th, which was the same day I switched my theme. The FB & IG Sales app states that the pixel is active, but I'm wondering if there is anywhere else I should be looking.
