Any ryokan in Yufuin allow tattoos?

I know several of the public baths and some ryokans allow tattoos even uncovered in the onsen in Beppu. Finding it harder to find information on Yufuin. Our group really wants the more traditional experience at Yufuin, but we have a member with a tattoo honoring a lost child. The child died from a heart defect at 2 so as you can imagine it was pretty traumatic . I would really hate to see her feeling excluded due to a memorial to a lost child.

Other suggestions of places in the area also welcome. We plan to ride the Yufin No Mori train from Fukuoka out then take the shinkansen back if that helps narrow the search.
