Hey everyone, I am a history teacher and I have a question for y'all. My school dis-acquisitioned its entire library in 2019 because "everything's online!" Ugh. Now all of a sudden they're telling us to use computers less because kids have too much screen time. That's kinda hard to do because we don't have a library anymore. Who could have possibly foreseen this?! At any rate, I have been trying to re-establish a physical book collection so that I can teach research skills in my classroom. Recently, I took a donation of a complete 1984 Britannica set with annual yearbooks up to 1995 and a 1987 Medicine and Health annual. It's been really fun to pore through, but it led me to have a question. I knew about the Book of the Year, but I had never heard of the Medicine and Health Annual. What other kinds of annuals did they have or was that it? Thanks!
