Hi, I am very interested in trying Spironolactone to manage some of my symptoms of PCOS. However, I’m worried about the possibility of a purge as I completed a round of Isotretinoin last year and so far it’s completely cured my acne! I really don’t want to experience skin issues again.

So I was wondering if anyone has experience with both medicines in that order? I have hirsutism, bloating and other symptoms that suggest my PCOS causes androgen imbalance. I think Isotretinoin could be a good solution for me.

If so, what has been your experience? Thank you!
