I am currently on my fourth listen through of the series, part way through Eye of the Bedlam Bride. I am still catching details that I have not noticed before.

When Sister Inez's team is introduced their totem flag is described as being something like shackles attached to a nun's hat, hinting at her special ability.

When Quasar is rapid fire catching Carl up on the results of the Zurzurra spell, he mentions the flesh golems and says "everybody loves the shark", referring to Jamal who we won't really meet until the following book.
