My daughter has shown an interest in the solar system and I wanted to buy her a telescope without breaking the bank. I found the above model on FB but it is incredibly dirty—the tube is filled with cob webs and bugs, the mirrors look dusty but I don’t think coatings are damaged. I think this thing will need a disassembly to clean. I’ve seen instructions on how to remove the main mirror and secondary mirror. Once those are out, what would be the best way to clean the tube?
