It looks like a ghost note with a “minus” symbol in front of it, with a dotted line extending to the end of the beamed notes. What is that?
As it sits now, in 4/4 time, my notation software is showing this is 5 beats, one more than I have room for in the measure. Is this a notation error or does the symbol over the measure remove a beat?
Edit: seems like I got an answer for this post, but maybe I’ll add this here instead of making a new post. How do you guys handle sending info to your coworkers? Like if I need to send another parts guy a vin, is there a commonly used method for real time exchange? Group messaging or something? Slack? Teams?
I found quite a few posts talking about mapping keyboard shortcuts, but I can’t seem to find the screen where you do this. They say to click in a DMS screen and you should get a menu. I don’t know what a DMS screen is, but if I right click in my invoice screen for example, I don’t get any menus that show up.
I’m in CDK drive if that makes a difference. Shift+insert doesn’t paste for me. I’m trying to add a paste function. It would be super handy.
Any one have any ideas?
